EARTHQUAKE!!I

Crap. We felt the earthquake last night. A 4.7. It was cuuuurrraaaazzyy. It felt like some one was under the bed kicking it. The TV starting dancing on it's own. It was so freaky. Neither of us knew what the heck was goin on. Spooky stuff.

I can't and don't want to imagine what a big one feels like and the damage that it brings. There were some broken windows over in Ingelwood. I don't even know what else to say except that it felt so damn weird.

The last time we lived in California there was a small quake but we didn't know until hearing people talk about it. But i didn't expect to feel it like this in Hollywood.

Fish and Chips

Hey. I made fish and chips last night and it was wonderful. I actually made a batter that tasted good. I'm so proud.

Our puppy is tired. We went on a walk. It was a pretty solid walk for her tiny legs. However she is a trooper and can just keep on goin.

The Rangers have now won 7 in a row. 4 1/2 games ahead of second place LA. This is not a jinx. It's just fun to watch them when they are descent.

I found this red wine that I really like called Bay bridge. It's a Clifornia Cabernet Sauvingon. Get this. A bottle cost less than 3 bucks. AND it was on sale the other day for $1.79. I like. That's all that matters.

I fianally figured out how to air up the tires on my bike. They have a really fruity valve.

I lost two punds and I'm really glad. I need to lose about 12 more.

I feel bad for the dogs at Runyan Canyon that don't have any water. I know they are thirsty. I also feel bad for the people who have lost their dogs. It's sad.

Hillary Duff is on tv from 4 years ago and she looks normal. She looks too skinny these days.

Lucie has realy straight whiskers.

I haven't seen black shirt man from across the street at all today. Odd.

Hollywood

Yes we now live in Hollywood. This place is nuts. It's exactly what I expected but it's still so different than anywhere we have ever lived before. We lived in the Valley months ago and it's kinda the same but not really. Did that make sense?

I think the difference is two things. Hollywood has way too many homeless people and way too many fake people. Or the $30,000 millionaires. The people who make regular money but want other people to think they make a ton of money. Ah the $30,000 millionaire cracks me up. They probably spend all their money on their apartment because nothing here is cheap. Seriously. Nothing. However, I think the $30,000 millionaire people are in every city. I know they are all over Dallas. There are a lot of kids living in those new downtown high rise apartments that don't need to be. But you know....whatever makes your boat stay above water.

We live right across the street from CNN. I guess it's where Larry King does his show. I passed the CBS building on the way back from dropping off Kayla. There a ton of shows filmed there. We passed the House Of Blue's Sunset yesterday. It looks neato. It reminds me a Joe's Crab Shack.

Here is a breakdown. Hollywood is cool, dirty, scary, rich, poor, regular, and our temporary home for a while. Can't wait for Kayla to get noticed. She will be the newest Rachael Ray type. I feel it.

Oh man. Cedar Sinai is freakin Massive. It would be sooo easy to get lost in there. It is ridiculously huge. But I'm so happy for my honey. This will look awesome on her resume. I gotta go.

Sunset Blvd-Our new Home

Well, well, well. We are movin on up.... to the West Side. To a delux apartment on Sunset Blvd. For real. Right smack dab in the middle of Hollywood. The good part. Not the bad or scary part of Hollywood. I'd say we are pretty excited about our new temporary home even though we had no intentions of going back to Southern California. Unless it was San Diego. Oh well. Cedar Sinai will change that pretty quick. This is how someone will finally discover Kayla. She will be the nurse of some big shot and they will talk. Then he will say she has a look. Then he will say here is my card. Then she will contact his company and boom. I still say she needs a cooking show. She can cook with the best.

We really didn't do half as much exploring as we would have liked when we lived in Woodland Hills. Now we will be so close to everything that we can walk or even ride our new bikes. We are only a 4 miles away from Cedar Sinai so Kayla will have a short drive or ride to work. I really wish I could find a gig at the hospital.

Griffith Park is only a few miles away also. It's a massive park and is where the Hollywood sign is located. The park seriously is huge. It's a super cool park. I don't mean the little park down the road that has a basketball goal and a baseball backstop. This is big time.

If the neighbors above us can be less quiet than the people in San Antonio and the Airplanes that fly directly over our house, all will be good. As my woman says, TTFN!!

Vlogging

Think I'm gonna bust up a Vlog soon. it's easier than typing and with my short attention span I can ramble off way more words that if I were typing. See? I already forgot what I was gonna type about next. Poop fire.

Some times the ole brain just gets old. Like my body. The last couple of days have been hard for me getting out of the car. I feel like a 130 year old man who has fake legs. I need new legs. "Lieutenant Dan, you got new Legs." (Forest Gump) Actually it's my ankles. Kayla looks at me like I am a fool bit they feel achy and stiff. I
can handle it though for now. Whoa is me.

I'm ready to go back to Hollywood. I want to go to the beach. I want to go to more places that we didn't go the first time. Plus, Crap Antonio just ain't doin it for us. We love us some Plano. Mm Mm good.

My wife is on her way home and that makes me happy. happy like Gilmore. You just don't understand how much we really like to hang out with each other.
