Dec. 31st

Hey. It's new Years eve. I'll be watching it on TV. Gonna stay at home cause the wife works. I don't wanna do anything anyway. I'd prefer a good ole family new years with my peeps in the 35. I just read that Charles Barkely was arrested for a DUI. He refused a breathe test thing. That can really only mean one thing. I'm working on a new blog. It is much more professional looking and the content is different. I'll tell you about it later. The mavs are now 19-12 after starting the season 2-7. They are only a game and a half out of first place. Good deal. I have a lot of cleaning to do today. We are out of paper towels. Oh, my woman bought us some ski's. this will avoid hassle for the rest of our lives. No more renting ski's and boots and cheap polls. Stinky boots who thousands of other people have worn before. Grossness to the max. Ooh dat is nasty. We are not sure where we are going to live next month. I'm still hoping for Denver but we may have to accept somewhere else. But it's ok. We shall go where we go and like it. So far so good. I really think the place we go will only get better. That's what I say.

Our first Visit

I have to do a better job with my body allowing the Christmas spirit inside. I think getting a tree wold help. We have to get a real one because a artificial tree would take up more space when we move. We don't need that. We need a dolly. I borrowed a dolly of the movers that moved in our furniture and it saved my life. It's why I'm alive to type this entry. I owe those dudes.

I'm a little jealous of Texas right now. I see it's a bit chilly there. But as always it will be back to 70 in no time. It's snowing in the Mountains in Cali. It's too bad there aren't any Mountains in Big D. I like L.A. but I almost can't wait to go to the next spot.

Undecided Title

Hey. My travel nurse is working today and I am blogging. I watched a football game on Sunday where one team decided they would prefer to lose instead of win. It was extremely unprofessional and totally disgusting. The team asked the opposing team if they would like to win and the opposing team said of course we would....You beat us up today so we just assumed we were going to lose. Thank you so much. Are you stupid or somethin? Not even Forrest Gump was as stupid as the charity football team on Sunday. That's all I have to type about thayat.
I'm going to have lunch with my travel nurse again today. I visited her on Saturday and is was lovely. Something I do not understand...Or maybe I do is: I feel that many many people (unhappily married) are jealous of the relationship that other married couples (happily married) have. If I take my travel nurse lunch it's because I want to see her. I will do the same exact thing 10 years from now. I don't take her lunch because we have only been married for 3 months. For people to say, "Oh well he won't bring you lunch for ever. He's only doing it because yall are still fresh" is oh so silly to say. I say those people wish they had a husband who would bring them lunch. Maybe I should take them lunch too. That wold be a good dead. It would be like a meals on wheels for nurses who need a hug.
Amanda is coming this week. I'm glad. I want people to know where we are living and see parts of our travel experiences. My travel nurse and I are going to go to Cat's studio this week and record a few songs. I'm really excited. We haven't been to the studio since we recorded the Bridal March song for our weeding.
I thought I would share a video that makes me smile. It is from Emily's birthday party last year I believe. The funny thing is that she looks so embarrassed because of cameras and the fact that people are singing to her. She even decides to go underneath the table. Lol.

Travel Nurse Lunch

There are some gooooooooood football games on today. Conference championship games. I am going to pick up some Corner Bakery and deliver to my travel nurse who is working today. We had a lovely day in San Diego Friday. San Diego is very very nice and the Downtown area is super cool. Tons of bars and cool restaurants. It makes downtown L.A. look like a large piece of something that fell in the toilet. Good enough hint? The hot spots here are Hollywood and Beverly Hills. Good ole Amanda Armdog is coming to see us next weekend all the way from the Co. Gotta give a shout out to Waco. Anyone know about Skype? It's pretty cool. It's like a free phone call on the computer. Check it out. If everyone would get a web cam we could talk and see you. I must prepare for lunch with my lovely travel nurse wife . I shall return later this afternoon with more jibberish. Aight then!!!

Back: Went and changed the oil in the 4 runner and washed it. Dude at the lube place tried to rip me off. The air filter looked whiter than a new pair of shoes but he wanted me to purchase a new one. It was the first time I have changed oil but felt like I was at a Jamaica or Bahamas flee market. In return for me to buy the parts they would knock off 5 or 10 bucks. i wasn't biting. I've done stupid things in the past but I would not allow these fellows to be satisfied. I love red bull.

The spoiling nurse

My nurse spoils me more than I deserve. How? She is off for 3 or 4 days in a row and then goes to work after I'm used to her not working. I like my days better when she is not working. So today it's just me, Lucie, and Callie hangnin out. I have several chores to take care of today and I feel like I lost a good friend for a year. My wonderful friend Thanksgiving went home for the year. We get along so great and it's always a bummer when the visit is over. But there is nothing I can do but wait for next year. Thanksgiving should be coming back in November of next year. Until then....

I really like the area we live in but we had no idea that downtown Los Angeles was so nasty. It is just now being cleaned up and new restaurants and bars are opening. We went to a Mavs-Lakers game on Friday at the Staples Center and then a Baylor-Wake Forest game on Sunday in Anaheim. 0-2. What the heck? I'm a jinxer.

Saturday was cool. We hung out on the Sunset Strip in Beverly Hills/Hollywood. I don't know where the line is. It was dark but I'm pretty sure we passed the Fresh Prince of Bell Air's house on the way. First load is done. Lemme do another and I'll get back with you. Laterz.
